There two yam market in Atebubu one is called Asante yam market and the other one is Konkomba yam market. However the Asante yam market was the first yam market of Atebubu and later Konkomba yam market was also create near "Ahonto"

Price Of Yam In Atebubu 

The yam doesn't have a stable price always the farmers follow the market. I mean when there more buyers or demand the farmers increase the price and when the buyers there the price decrease.

Many farmers didn't get more yams this year because of rainfall the this the they didn't get the rain well so many farmers didn't get more yams. They due to this the price of the yam will rise than ever.

Last week Monday 1,000 of yam was GH¢4,500 that was 11/11/2024.

Which is cheaper across the whole Ghana Atebubu yam marketing day is market on only Monday's.
